French utility seeks inspection, monitoring of Vieux Pre pumped-storage

Utility Electricite de France (EDF) seeks bids to perform inspection and monitoring of the dam of the 11.8-MW Vieux Pre pumped-storage project in the Meurthe et Moselle Department of eastern France. Bids are due September 24.

Vieux Pre Dam is a 70-meter-tall, 350-meter-long zoned embankment structure completed by EDF in 1985.

The utility seeks bids to perform periodic inspection, examination of existing monitoring equipment, flow measurements, and preparation of reports. The contract is to run for four years.
