Corps Hydroelectric Design Center seeks management study

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Hydroelectric Design Center seeks bids for development of an organizational management study of restructuring the center's Generic Maintenance Team. Bids are due Sept. 19.

The Corps previously said it expected to seek bids about Sept. 11.

The Hydroelectric Design Center is the Corps' national center of expertise for planning, engineering, and design of hydroelectric powerhouses and large pumping plants.

The Corps said the Generic Maintenance Team has grown exponentially in recent years. It said the Hydroelectric Design Center management team seeks to assure that the GMT structure and positioning within the center reflects the most efficient and effective business structure to meet customer expectations.

In a solicitation set aside for small businesses, the Corps seeks a firm that will utilize knowledge of the design center mission to facilitate an organizational management study.
