French firm seeks turbine components for Breda project

ANNECY, France 4/2/12 (PennWell) -- Hydropower engineer Hydrostadium seeks bids for supply of replacement parts for a 1.8-MW turbine-generator of the Breda hydroelectric project on the Breda River in France's Isere and Savoy departments. Bids are due April 16.

Hydrostadium, a subsidiary of Electricite de France, seeks a new spiral casing, Francis turbine runner, and other components for the unit, which is designed for a net head of 42.85 meters and a flow of 5 cms.
