Corps seeks architect-engineers for work in Midwest

ST. LOUIS, Mo., U.S. 4/19/12 (PennWell) -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers seeks information on architect-engineering firms capable of performing work in six primary disciplines at sites in the Mississippi Valley and the Midwest. Responses are due May 3.

The Corps' St. Louis District issued a sources sought notice seeking information on small businesses capable of performing work mainly in the St. Louis, St. Paul, and Rock Island districts. The St. Louis District awarded a contract in January to Hasslet & Willis Co. LLC to support the Corps' National Flood Risk Management Program.

The agency seeks information on small firms with expertise in engineering, architectural services, landscape architectural services, surveying and mapping, geophysical surveying and mapping, and environmental consulting services. It seeks experience in locks and dams, flood damage reduction, and other civil works.

A sources sought notice may be obtained from the Federal Business Opportunities Internet site, www.fbo.gov, by entering solicitation No. W912P912SACR1 in the "Keyword/Solicitation #" box.
