PORTLAND, Ore., U.S. 2/13/12 (PennWell) -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers seeks information on small businesses capable of providing integrated professional planning and feasibility design for water resources projects in the Corps' Portland District. Responses are due Feb. 21.
The Corps' Portland District previously recruited architect-engineering firms to provide multi-disciplined engineering and design services to the district.
The Portland District now seeks information on the availability and capability of small businesses, qualified under the North American Industry Classification System, to provide planning and feasibility design services for water resource projects. Services are to be in the areas of ecosystem restoration, flood risk management, water supply, navigation, and other responsibilities of the Corps.
The agency plans to award a maximum $10 million contract of one base year and four one-year option periods.
