WALLA WALLA, Wash., U.S. 11/10/11 (PennWell) -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has extended the deadline for bids from small businesses to supply acoustic release and control units for four hydroelectric projects in the Pacific Northwest. Bids now are due Nov. 30.
The Corps' Walla Walla District originally called for bids by Nov. 17. The district took information in October on contractors able to perform fish counting services at eight federal hydroelectric projects on the Columbia and Snake rivers.
The agency now seeks bids from small businesses to supply 88 acoustic release and control units for four dams.
A solicitation notice may be obtained from the Federal Business Opportunities Internet site, www.fbo.gov, by entering Solicitation No. W912EF12Q0003 in the "Keyword/Solicitation #" box.
