FERC seeks supervisory civil engineer for Oregon office

WASHINGTON 11/9/11 (PennWell) -- The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission seeks candidates to serve as Supervisory Civil Engineer in its Division of Dam Safety and Inspections, in FERC's Portland, Ore., Regional Office. Applications are due Nov. 16.

FERC took applications in May for a similar position in its Atlanta office.

The agency currently seeks a GS-15 civil engineer for its Portland office. Among duties, the supervisory civil engineer is to ensure that FERC-jurisdictional hydropower projects are designed, constructed, operated, and maintained in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
