The electric utility of Bosnia's Serb Republic, Elektroprivreda Republike Srpska, seeks bids to recontruct the cooling water system and switchgear of the 110-MW Bocac hydroelectric project in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bids are due September 22.
The European Investment Bank approved a 103 million euro (US$150 million) loan to Bosnia and Herzegovina for rehabilitation of hydroelectric plants and electricity distribution systems. As part of that work, Elektroprivreda RS took bids in May to construct an additional spillway for control of flood discharges from the Bocac.
The utility now seeks bids for one or both lots:
o Lot A, Reconstruction of the cooling water system of Bocac;
o Lot B, Reconstruction of the 110-kilovolt switchgear of the project.
The work is to require 80 days.
