Peru's national water authority invites expressions of interest from consultants to develop a national water resources plan for all 14 hydrographic units encompassing the entire country. Responses are due August 2.
The Autoridad Nacional del Agua seeks consultants specializing in integrated water resources management. Peru recruited consultants in January to develop plans for water resources management in pilot river basins of Chira Piura, Santa, and Tacna.
In the current solicitation, the authority seeks development of a preliminary level national water resources plan for the 14 hydrographic units totaling 1.28 million square kilometers. The work is to be completed in 18 months with US$450,000 from the Inter-American Development Bank.
