Electricite de France has awarded Alstom Hydro a contract for rehabilitation of four pump-turbines at the 800-MW Revin pumped-storage hydroelectric project in France.

The contract involves work on four 180-MW pump-turbines, including replacement of runners and refurbishment of servo-motors and other components.

In other news, Alstom, in consortium with Hindustan Construction Company, recently announced it has been awarded a contract worth around USD 412 million by Tehri Hydro Development Corporation to install a 1,000-MW variable speed pumped-storage hydropower plant on the river Bhagirathi in the state of Uttarakhand, India.
