Oregon utility seeks generation manager

Eugene Water & Electric Board seeks applications for a generation manager to supervise hydroelectric, thermal, and wind-power generating facilities. Applications are due May 6.

Founded in 1911, Eugene Water & Electric Board is Oregon's largest customer-owned utility, providing electricity, water, and steam to more than 86,000 customers.

The utility seeks a generation manager to set production goals, measure operating performance, and develop and maintain production records and reports. Paying from $118,485 to $142,183 annually, the position requires a minimum or 10 years' experience in operation, maintenance, construction, or design of hydroelectric or steam system facilities. A bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering is required.
