Penstock bids extended for 126-MW Passy, dropped for 101-MW Aston

Electricite de France (EDF) has extended the deadline for bids to refurbish the penstock of the 126-MW Passy hydroelectric project and canceled bidding for penstock work at the 101-MW Aston project in France. Bids for the work on Passy in the Haute Savoie region now are due February 11.

The utility had called for bids by January 28 for refurbishment of penstocks of both projects. In 2009, EDF took bids for refurbishment of the penstock of the 97-MW Nentilla hydroelectric project on France's Aude River.

Tender documents may be obtained from the address below. Bids, in French, now are due February 11.
