Hansen Technologies said their client, Xcel Energy, signed a new deal to integrate Hansen's complex billing solution to manage their commercial and industrial customers across eight US states.
For the past 12 years, Hansen's Customer Information System (CIS) has supported more than 5.5 million Xcel Energy customers across Colorado, Michigan, Minnesota, New Mexico, North and South Dakota, Texas and Wisconsin.
As their commercial business grew, Xcel Energy needed a new solution that easily interfaced with Hansen's CIS to automate over 100 multifaceted energy tariffs for their electricity, natural gas, solar, chilled water and steam customers.
A highly adaptive product, Hansen's Complex Billing module is a standalone solution that integrates with any CIS on the market today and meets all Xcel Energy requirements. With this new integrated addition, Xcel Energy is now able to efficiently deliver custom requirements for its commercial and large industrial contracts and their wide-ranging needs.
