Schneider Electric Solar Business, a global solar power company, is contributing to the development of solar power in the U.K. by connecting more than 300 MW to the grid in end of March, on top of the 200 MW already in operation.

The projects were constructed by 7 different engineering, procurement and construction companies from 4 different countries, in more than 20 photovoltaic sites across the U.K. Schneider Electric's global service infrastructure team, with field service engineers in over 100 countries, supported the successful commissioning of all sites, meeting all project deadlines.

The ability to achieve this high volume of project installations was also due in part to the fully integrated PV Box solution from Schneider Electric. The containerized solution, which integrated inverters, switchgear, LV switchboard, DC box, monitoring cabinets, and a transformer already inside, allows for efficient on-site installation.
