DistribuTECH wraps up silver anniversary in San Diego

As DistribuTECH Conference and Exhibition 2015 draws to a close, the PennWell Corp. show, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary in sunny San Diego, can boast greater attendance and activity than before.

This year, the show attracted more than 11,000 attendees — a number well ahead of the show’s target.

More than 480 companies exhibited during the show, including such international energy players as Hydro-Quebec, Microsoft, Oracle, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Itron, Sensus, Black & Veatch, Silver Spring Networks, Toshiba, Comverge and Cisco.

The show’s international presence continues to grow, with more than 326 global utility companies representing 64 countries, including Vietnam, Switzerland, Columbia, Uruguay, Australia, China, Brazil, Ghana, Taiwan, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates.

This is also the second year DistribuTECH has partnered with the U.S. Department Of Commerce’s International Buyer Program, which is designed to bring together international buyers with U.S. companies.

DistribuTECH’s co-located events have continued their growth as well. Utility Products Conference & Expo is celebrating its seventh year and this year also marks the sixth year for the Electric Light & Power Executive Conference.

Be sure to mark February 9-11 on your calendar for 2016, when DistribuTECH heads the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
