NV Energy identifying sites for solar power projects

NV Energy is seeking information from renewable energy developers to assist the company's effort in identifying potential new solar power sites available for company-owned assets in association with Senate Bill 123.

Project parameters include sites with delivery to NV Energy's southern electrical system with a nameplate capacity of 20 MW AC or greater, which are sufficiently developed to meet a 2016 commercial operation date.

The deadline for responses is March 21, 2014.
