Tendril executives to speak at Smart Grid Consumer Collaborative discussions

Tendril, provider of energy services management solutions, will participate in two panel discussions at the 2014 Smart Grid Consumer Collaborative (SGCC) Consumer Symposium.

The theme of this year’s event is “Igniting Consumer Engagement.” The SGCC Consumer Symposium will take place in conjunction with DistribuTECH at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio starting January 27, 2014.

Tendril CEO Adrian Tuck will contribute on a panel titled, “Post AMI Deployment: Leveraging the New Consumer Relationship.” Laney Brown, Director of Smart Grid Planning and Programs for Iberdrola USA, as well as other utility representatives and technology providers will join him on the panel.

They will discuss best practices for engaging consumers once AMI deployments have been completed. Tendril COO and CTO Chris Black will then participate on the “Thinking Future: Community Solar and Energy Storage” panel to discuss increasing consumer sentiment toward solar and storage technologies.

With topics ranging from articulating smart grid benefits to consumers, connecting consumers with their data, and the future of solar and energy storage, attendees will receive fresh insight into consumers in this evolving energy landscape.
