FERC Chairman Wellinghoff to join Stoel Rives

The law firm of Stoel Rives LLP today said Jon Wellinghoff, Chair of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), will join the firm upon completion of his service at FERC.

Wellinghoff submitted his resignation to the president (pending the approval of a replacement) May 28, but no date has been announced for his departure from FERC.

Stoel Rives is an energy law practice with nearly 100 attorneys across the firm practicing in the field of energy.
