Areva wins nuclear maintenance contract in New Jersey

Areva signed a long-term outage services contract with PSEG Nuclear for outage and maintenance work at Salem units 1 and 2 and Hope Creek nuclear power plants, both in New Jersey.

 

Under terms of the contract, Areva will cover refueling, inspections and steam generator services for two pressurized water reactors and a boiling water reactor. Services are expected to begin in the fall of 2013.
