Stream Energy expands electric service into New York, New Jersey, Maryland

Stream Energy launched its biggest expansion in company history June 22, 2013. The firm now offers residential and commercial energy services across New York, New Jersey and Maryland with 5.1 million meters available in the Con Edison (ConEd) service area of New York alone.

This expansion of services includes 10 new territories totaling 5.7 million new meters. In addition to launching residential and commercial services for natural gas and electric in the ConEd service area of New York, Stream Energy is also pleased to announce the following expansion areas that are now open in the Northeast.

Stream Energy has generated over $5 billion in total revenues and was founded in 2004.
