Power Engineering's 2013 Projects of the Year nominations are now open

Power Engineering magazine and RenewableEnergyWorld.com announce that nominations are now open for the 2013 Projects of the Year awards.

Each year, nominations from around the world pour in for projects in eight categories: Coal, nuclear, natural gas, solar, hydro/marine, wind, geothermal and biomass.

The editors score each project on several criteria, including innovation, benefits to the community and economy, and environmental benefits, and name a winner and a runner up.

Awards are presented during the Projects of the Year gala held each year during POWER-GEN International, which will be held November 12-14 in Orlando, Fla.
