Survalent commissions SCADA system for solar power plant

Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, July 18, 2012 — Survalent Technology commissioned a new Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for Comisión Federal de Electricidad Solar Power Plant.

The 1 MW Santa Rosalia photovoltaic pilot project is located in Baja California Sur state. The project consists of photovoltaic modules, support structure with an axis tracking, power conditioning system, control and monitoring system, main transformer, connection and disconnection main equipment, control booth, perimeter fence and security system.

The engineering, development and commissioning of the automation and control system was done by Tesla Ingeniería, S.A. de C.V., Survalent's certified integrator located in the City of San Luis Potosí, México.

Tesla Ingeniería designed and developed the system's architecture in order to achieve the best control, monitoring, data storage, reporting and trending possible for all field devices, while providing local and remote operation with the highest system reliability.
