Cozen O'Connor hires utilities attorney

Philadelphia, July 23, 2012 — Cozen O'Connor, among the 100 largest U.S. law firms, announced that utilities lawyer David P. Zambito has joined the firm as a member of the Business Law Department in the Harrisburg, Pa. office.

One of Pennsylvania's premier utility attorneys, Zambito served as principal legal advisor to former PA Public Utility Commission (PUC) Chairman and Commissioner Glen Thomas. He formerly was a principal at Post & Schell in Harrisburg.

Zambito will practice with Cozen O'Connor's Energy, Environmental and Public Utilities Practice Group, focusing his work on regulatory and commercial issues involving utilities. His practice includes representation before state and federal agencies.

In addition to his experience with the PA Public Utility Commission, Zambito was commissioned by PA Governor Mark Schweiker in 2002 as a member of the Pennsylvania Homeland Security Advisory Council.

Zambito earned his J.D. from The Dickinson School of Law. He was a member of the Dickinson Law Review and on the Appellate Moot Court Board. He received his bachelor's degree from Grove City College, graduating magna cum laude.
