CoServ Electric picks Ecologic MDM solution for distribution technology initiative

Bloomington, Minn., July 17, 2012 — Ecologic Analytics, a provider of meter data management systems based on international standards, announces that CoServ Electric has selected the Ecologic MDM solution for its advanced metering and electric distribution technology initiative, CoServ eCoGrid.

CoServ, provider of electric and natural gas service to more than 140,000+ members across North Texas, chose Ecologic Analytics for its proven MDM solution containing the necessary processing and analytic capabilities to prepare advanced meter data for use in distribution and customer operations; its existing integration with Landis+Gyr Gridstream technology and its use of standards to integrate with many adjacent back office systems.

The Ecologic MDM has been deployed by utilities for more than a decade, and today it is a foundational solution for many utilities, like CoServ, to leverage the wealth of advanced meter data streaming into their businesses.

The Ecologic MDM enables many benefits such as providing an accurate view of energy demand for utility personnel and reducing operational costs through remote connects, disconnects and on-demand meter reads.
