Constellation to supply power to New Jersey state agencies

Baltimore, July 11, 2012 — Constellation, a business unit of Exelon, renewed and extended for two years an agreement to supply competitively priced electricity to the state of New Jersey.

Under the contract extension from June 2013 to June 2015, Constellation will supply more than 2 billion kWh of electricity to New Jersey entities ranging from the New Jersey Turnpike to the New Jersey Economic Development Authority.

In New Jersey, Constellation serves more than 90,000 commercial, residential and public sector accounts, and provides services that include solar and energy efficiency.

Constellation is a commercial and industrial electricity retailer in the U.S., delivering services that control costs, create budget certainty, and improve sustainability for customers. Constellation also serves more than 380 federal government sites that include the U.S. Capitol and the Smithsonian Institution.
