Oncor expands AMI contract with Metadigm Services

Atlanta, March 13, 2012 — Metadigm Services, a utility services company specializing in advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) services to utilities, extended its existing contract with Oncor Electric Delivery.

Metadigm Services will deploy its AMI services to replace residential meters in the Dallas-Forth Worth area. The original one-year contract, announced September 2011, comprised commercial and industrial meter replacements across 118,000 miles of transmission and distribution lines.

"More utility companies need the right partner to help them benefit from government incentives as well as comply with new state regulations within very tight deadlines," said Robert Shively, CEO of Metadigm. "Our team brings the right combination of experience, technology and technical expertise to support large scale deployments. It is indeed an honor to be recognized by Oncor as a strategic partner instrumental in helping it achieve its goal of full deployment of smart meters across homes and businesses by the end of 2012."
