enXco sells 31 MW of solar power to Marin Clean Energy

San Diego, August 25, 2011 — enXco, an EDF Energies Nouvelles company, has announced a power purchase agreement with Marin Clean Energy for 31 MW of solar photovoltaic energy.

The project will be located on six potential sites in Kern, Kings and/or Tulare Counties including a 1 MW solar carport facility to be built in Marin County.

enXco will develop, own and operate the solar project with Marin Clean Energy purchasing the power generated under a 25-year contract with buyout opportunities at years 10, 15, and 20 of the contract term.

Start of construction is anticipated in the Fall of 2013 with commercial operations expected by March 31, 2014. The combined sites will generate 60,000 annual megawatt-hours of energy production, about 7.5 percent of Marin Clean Energy's annual energy requirements at full roll out.
