Baltimore Gas and Electric picks Elster for AMI deployment

Raleigh, N.C., January 5, 2011 — Elster entered into a new multi-year frame agreement with Baltimore Gas & Electric to supply both residential and commercial gas diaphragm meters.

Shipments of AC-250, AL-425, AL-630 and AL-800 model meters have commenced and will be used in BG&E's advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) deployment.
