MHPS turbines headed for Seoul CHP

Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems, Ltd (MHPS), jointly with Daelim Industrial Co Ltd, has received an order for two M501GAC gas turbines for a combined heat and power plant in Seoul, South Korea.

The project is being developed on behalf of Korea Midland Power Co Ltd (KOMIPO), a power generation company of Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), Korea's national electric power supplier.

MHPS supplies its equipment to developer Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction. Daelim Industrial is a major engineering and construction company in Korea that handles civil works.
