In a new combined heat and power (CHP) development, the Poplar Housing Association in Tower Hamlets, London, UK has reportedly selected ENER-G to supply the CHP system for 516 new homes on the Leopold housing estate (pictured).

The development is the second multiple-dwelling heating system to be installed on the estate by ENER-G.

Ian Hopkins, group sales director of ENER-G Cogen International, said: ‘London is demonstrating strong leadership in decarbonising its energy supplies through increasing use of CHP with low emissions technology. This is one of a number of new projects we are supplying in the capital.’
