Wynn Everett resort gets on-site solar/CHP

A new casino and hotel complex development in Everett, Massachusetts, USA is being developed with on-site solar and combined heat and power installations.Wynn Resort

Located on the site of a former chemical works, Wynn’s $1.7 billion resort is being designed to achieve a LEED Gold standard or higher.

According to a statement from the company on-site solar power and purchased renewable energy will provide 10% of the resort’s electrical needs while a combined heat and power plant will generate a further 20% of the hotel’s electrical demand and provide hot water for hotel and kitchen use.
