CHP proposed for Maine to ease grid strain

Rockland Energy Center LLC, a subsidiary of Energy Management, Inc., of Boston, has reportedly revealed proposals to bu New England map ild a US$200 million, 76 MW, gas-fired combined heat and power plant in Rockland, Maine, USA.



According to media reports, under the plans the plant would produce electricity for the New England electrical grid, and heat for Rockland manufacturers.
