Finnish technology firm Wärtsilä has signed a contract to supply power generation capacity for a Europe-based customer with international operations.

Valued at approximately €120 million, the order includes Wärtsilä 50 platform gensets and auxiliary equipment. The engine platform is able to operate on dual fuel, gas and liquid fuel versions.

The order was booked into Wärtsilä’s Q1 2015 accounts. However, a client confidentiality agreement leaves further details of the order undisclosed.
