Alstom in $128m CHP deal in Moscow

A combined heat and power plant in Moscow, Russia which generates 420 MW of power is subject to a multimillion service agreement involving Alstom.

The TPP-26 plant will be the focus of Alstom Thermal Power and JSC Mosenergo attention as part of a 14-year service agreement.

The agreement includes all maintenance to be carried out at the plant including management of daily service activities as well as supply of spares. Equipment covered includes all Alstom equipment in the generating unit #8, consisting of one GT26 gas turbine, one steam turbine, two air-cooled generators and additionally one heat recovery steam generator (HRSG).

, Senior Vice President of Alstom Thermal Services said: “Our gas turbine technology has already made TPP-26 the most efficient gas-fired power plant in the country and we are dedicated to support our customer to maintain this performance while also optimising his plant operation costs.”
