District Energy Corporation set to build $10m plant in US

District Energy Corp is to build a natural gas plant, which will provide low-cost, efficient heating and cooling for the Pinnacle Bank Arena and surrounding private development, in Nebraska, US.

Construction on the plant will begin this month, with completion set for December or January, in time to provide heat to the newly enclosed arena.

It's the first time District Energy will rent their services to private businesses, says Steve Masters, president of the company."

Four pipes, two to carry hot water to and from the arena in the winter and two to carry cold water in the summer, will run under an alley to the arena and surrounding businesses.
