Californian power plant to close after 24 years

Stockton Cogen, a cogeneration power plant based in Stockton, California, has announced that it will be preparing to close in the next couple of weeks.



Industrial info reports that the station has provided more than 60 MW of coal fired generation to the area since early 1988.

The station is owned by Stockton Cogen Company Incorporated, a subsidiary of Air Products & Chemical Incorporated (NYSE:APD).
