European biogas forum taking place in May

The European Biogas Forum is to be held on the 22 - 24 May 2012 in Hamburg, Germany.

The forum will cover the full biogas chain from feedstock supply, production and treatment, and grid injection through to the commercialisation of biogas as a potentially significant contributor to the utility-scale European energy mix.

The Forum will analyse the differing levels of political and commercial support throughout European member states, as well as market barriers to overcome when developing and operating mid- to large- scale biogas plants.

The programme will also analyse the commercial opportunities of mid- to large- scale biogas production, as well as technical and regulatory challenges inherent in these operations.
