Dalkia sees rise in small-scale CHP projects in Europe

Energy services provider Dalkia is reporting international growth in its small-scale CHP specialist company, the UK-based Cogenco, over the last six months, with new projects across Europe.
The most recent international projects include three in Belgium, two in Ireland and four in France.
In total, 29 CHP units have been sold, with a total capacity of 7.5 MWe, covering a range of applications such as commercial building, hospitals and water treatment facilities, says Dalkia.
The specialist Cogenco team assists with the design of the CHP projects, as well as supporting local installation teams. This allows Dalkia’s sister companies and end-customers to benefit from their vast knowledge in the CHP technology.
Dudley McDonald, director of Cogenco comments: ‘We are very proud of our growth within the international market and being able to utilize our extensive CHP experience and skills further afield.’
