Nanofiltration membranes introduced to remove injection seawater sulfates

Free Information on GE Power & Water >>

You can eliminate almost all injection water sulfate in offshore oil production via new SWSR seawater sulfate removal nanofiltration membrane.

They're announced to help drastically reduce injection well scale and corrosion with three-layer design which enables smooth surface for fouling resistance.

SWSR provides a high transmission of sodium chloride into the permeate water to minimize operating pressures. It offers a physical barrier for any suspended particles including bacteria, pyrogens, and colloids. The new membrane also helps prevent injection well strontium and barium sulfate scale plus helps better mitigate well souring via reduced sulfate.

Full SWSR specifics are yours free for the asking.
