New AWK-3131A wireless AP/bridge/client offers fast, reliable wireless performance in industrial settings by supporting IEEE 802n technology with a 300 Mbps maximum net data rate. It also features AeroLink Protection redundancy to prevent a single point of failure from bringing down an entire network.

For communications between offshore platforms, in refineries or train-to-ground, AWK-3131A's AeroLink Protection network has two or more protected wireless client nodes connected to a single access point. One serves as active node while the others are passive backup. If the active node stops sending/receiving data for any reason - complete communication is restored within 300 ms via the passive backup nodes.
