CXT-Series SmartWireless Gas Detectors are now cCSAus Class I, Div. 1 approved.

CXT-IR is equipped with an infrared sensor to monitor combustible hydrocarbons while CXT-DM is fitted with an electrochemical sensor to monitor toxic gases and oxygen.

Both instruments underwent stringent testing and evaluation to be found safe and reliable by CSA International according to required CSA and UL standards.

SmartWireless detectors operate at 2.4GHz with a 2-mile line-of-sight communications capability. They use "Mesh Network" topology. This allows each device to operate as a repeater within the network for assured consistent, continuous redundancy and reliable communication.

Both gas detectors comprise their maker's patent-pending "Fault Tolerant Safety Network" technology: Any device in the network can operate as a master device to eliminate any single-point of failure of the network.
