Software aids upstream "factory" approach to drilling

Unconventional operators employing a 'factory' approach to drilling programs can benefit from the latest DSO/Upstream 4.2 software.

For fast, reliable upstream operations scheduling, it lets you group multiple types of activity: pad construction, drilling, completion, fracturing - into a sequence scheduled against any type of resource. This can include drilling and spudder rigs or construction/completion equipment.

With DSO/Upstream, wells may be associated with leases and, lease "clock" time-based operation obligations - then incorporated into the schedule to ensure compliance with lease agreements.

The software provides support for activity and resource blackout periods. This enables operational or environmental constraints to be addressed at any time during the scheduling process.
