Models are designed to serve fluid catalytic crackers, coking oven off-gas atmospheres, and gas sampling in stack testing. They function in heavily contaminated streams. Cross-flow design keeps most particles in a gas stream to reduce filter element obstruction.
They withstand up to 1,450°F. in oxidizing atmospheres; up to 1,700°F. in reducing or neutral atmospheres, depending on construction materials. Porous metal filter media withstands highly corrosive atmospheres as well as differential pressures in excess of 1,000 psid.
The filters can be constructed in a variety of high-strength alloys: 316LSS, nickel, Hastelloy, and Inconel.
