Dif-Jet gas infusion device and technology are announced as new wastewater aeration alternatives.
Dif-Jet does not make bubbles. It infuses oxygen from air or pure oxygen into water. This reportedly makes it a less expensive than diffusers, injectors, and sparger designs.
Gas infusion device rates of 90% to 95% dissolved oxygen using air and well above saturation levels using pure oxygen - are said to be typical.
The patent-pending design allows treatment without fouling or due to high solids or dissolved minerals in water. The device is engineered to efficiently dissolve such gases as air, oxygen, carbon dioxide gas, ozone, and nitrogen gas into water. It also allows for mixing multiple gases into water.
Dif-Jet needs less energy and puts more oxygen into water than blower systems or compressed air types using diffusers. Typically no filters are required prior to gas infusion. It is highly scalable in terms of capacity to treat high water volumes. It also easily incorporate into existing systems and comes in stainless steel and PVC configurations.
