The automated Karl Fischer titrator system comprises coulometric titrator and oil evaporator. It uses an azeotropic distillation solvent (toluene or xylene) so moisture is evaporated at a lower temperature. This saves on costly Karl Fischer reagents and lowers maintenance costs - since the titration cell remains clean and contaminant free.
The system allows an analyst to load samples into the glass vials, then place them on a sample tray. Pushing the "start button" begins analyses.
Aquacounter's sample changer holds up to 20 vials and can process large numbers of samples.
