Cooling superheated water for continuous toxin recovery and remediation is accomplished with HDPE cooling towers in combination with indirect thermal desorption. They operate with Anaerobic Thermal Desorption Units on oil sludge ponds, oilfield drilling cuttings, and tank bottom dregs to enable hydrocarbon recovery so those hydrocarbons are preserved for collection and recycling.
In the ATDU, the water-cooled heat exchanger draws off heat from the process driving the hydrocarbon gas condenser unit. This facilitates hydrocarbons recovery so they may be "bottled" for future use. In this continuous system, the cooling towers assure water is reduced in temperature before it loops back through the system. The towers are designed with a seamless shell - impervious to treatment chemicals and harsh natural or industrial environments.
