MSU comprises self-sustained truck and trailer unit complete with a work shop and employee living quarters. It is used to assemble, maintain, and inventory tools or equipment for land-based thru-tubing jobs.
MSU is equipped with shop table, torque machine, overhead crane, plus customized racks to store specialty mills, motors, and a wide range of related bottom-hole tools or redress kits. The trailer is powered primarily by plugging into a land-based power source with typical 30-amp RV hook ups. For remote locations, MSU can sustain itself via on-board diesel generator or intrinsic solar panels and battery system.
In combination, the mobile unit and this specialist more efficiently deliver a wider array of tools onsite and mitigate downtime caused by unexpected events, it's noted.
