CNS SIMDIS for Crude Oil analyzers are introduced to "simplify crude assays to increase lab productivity."
They are also announced as "the first instrument to simultaneously determine the boiling range distribution of Carbon, Nitrogen, and Sulfur in crudes and final products - essential to cutting the crude oil to optimize the manufactured end product."
The analyzers are built around recognized simulated distillation (SIMDIS) methods, but also incorporate additional chemiluminescence detectors. It is comparable to such methods as ASTM D2887, D6352, D7500, and D7169 standards. However, this new instrument is declared to complete crude assays at a fraction of the time and cost of traditional methods.
Integrated software automates several aspects of the analysis process including calibration, validation, and data reporting. Complete crude analyzers data are free.
