You can measure pressurized line fluids flow with HVT-Halmi Venturi Flow Elements.
Highly accurate and reliable, they accommodate flow measurement of high-viscosity line fluids, solids bearing line fluids, as well as harsh or contaminated line fluids. Each embodies the HVT-SM Sealed Metering System.
Among venturi flow element features are a substantially shorter laying length than other designs. This yields nominal permanent pressure loss characteristics equal to or less than 6% of indicated differential.
Because standard HVT design incorporates true static pressure sensing at the throat and inlet piezometer taps — discharge coefficient is 0.99 from approximately 75,000 pipe Reynolds number and above. This means you can safely close valves or other fittings on the downstream end of the meter — without concern for diminished accuracy.
