CXT wireless gas detection sensor assemblies include a low power sensor packaged with a CXT-300 or CXT-320 transceiver. They are designed for use in heavy industrial environments - especially mobile applications.
The compact rugged field devices are equipped with one of two sensor technologies. Electrochemical monitors hydrogen sulfide and a wide range of other toxic gases while infrared monitors combustible hydrocarbons. Each assembly includes one of the two transceivers - packaged in a single stainless steel or aluminum enclosure.
Power options include a smart battery pack for six-month continuous operation; disposable batteries for two-month continuous usage.
CXT transceivers use "Self Healing Mesh Network" topology. This allows each device in a network to act as a router or repeater for all other devices in the network. Subscribers can "hop" through neighboring devices to communicate.
